  Avoid at all costs. I never write reviews, but this one has to be done for pubic service. I was under the impression that all physicians have to take the Hippocratic Oath but experiencing Dr. Joel Abramowitz was a rude awakening. Do not trust what he tells you. Expect really poor ethical standards here. I accompanied a patient to his office for an emergency. He clearly knew that the patient needed a Foley catheter immediately but gave just oral medication, charged over $300 for the visit and let us go. Within 5 hours of seeing this doctor, we had to go to the hospital emergency and pay for an emergency visit to get Foley catheter. It's not about the money - what is truly disappointing is how Dr. Joel Abramowitz was willing to risk the patients health in case of an emergency. No wonder he is rated poorly on all websites - should be shut down.
